Better CiC is new type of community interest company, driven by its mission to support local communities through the use of modern technologies. In the coming months Better will be launching a number of services aimed at supporting economic sustainability within local communities. Better will support local suppliers though its Better Home Service brand and create employment at its Business Support Centres across the UK.

Better CiC marks a new step in collaboration between the Third Sector and the traditional Public and Private Sectors. Commenting on the launch of the new website portal, Mr. Fitzgerald Hayles, CEO, said, "the nature of modern technology is creating new opportunities for creative thinkers who are able to translate thoughts into meaningful and relevant services. Our goal is to create modern services that will truly make our communities a better place to live, work and learn". Mr. Hayles went on to say, "we will focus on four things over the next 5 years; working closely with local communities in the UK, supporting small businesses, creating employment opportunities, using technology to leverage our success."

Better CiC is working closely with local businesses agencies and community champions such as Advantage West Midlands, Business Link, Job Centre Plus and its main business partner, the Enriched Life Centre, the location for Better's West Midland Business Support Centre.
